About NRC
The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is an independent, humanitarian non-governmental organisation which provides assistance, protection and durable solutions to refugees and internally displaced persons worldwide.
NRC has some 850 men and women in its Emergency Standby Forces. On 72 hours notice they can deploy anywhere in the world to support the UN and other international organisations with humanitarian aid and emergency relief operations, election observation, human rights monitoring, and peace keeping operations.
